This policy explains what GeoCell by Aarlika AI, provided by Aarlika LLC (Sugar Land, Texas, USA), collects through this website and the GeoCell service, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].
1. On this website
Page views. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. It records the page, the referring site, your browser and device type, and your country (derived from your IP address, which is not stored for analytics).
Button clicks. When you click a sign-up or similar button, we record which button, where it was on the page, the page path and the time. No IP address, cookie or user ID is recorded. We keep these records for 13 months.
AI Assist. Questions you type into AI Assist are sent to our servers and answered by an AI model that runs on Cloudflare Workers AI, our service provider. Recent messages from the same conversation are sent along so it can answer follow-ups. We do not save your conversations; the conversation exists only in your browser tab and is gone when you close or reload it. To stop abuse, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address and a count of your requests for up to 24 hours. Please don't type personal, confidential or secret information (such as passwords or cloud keys) into AI Assist.
Early access. While GeoCell is opening, the sign-up and sign-in pages offer an early-access list. If you join, we store your email address, the plan you picked (if any), which page you joined from and when. We use it only to tell you when you can start using GeoCell, and we keep it until then, or until you ask us to remove it. A one-way hash of your IP address is kept for up to 24 hours to stop abuse of the form.
Cost calculator. The calculator runs in your browser. The sizes you enter are not sent to us; the page only downloads cloud list prices.
Your device. This site sets no cookies. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Hosting. Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
2. In the GeoCell service
Account. When you sign up we store your work email, name or username and organization, so you can sign in (through Keycloak OpenID Connect) and manage your team.
Cloud credentials. The cloud keys you connect are kept in a dedicated Vault for your account, never in GeoCell's application database. Scope each key to the least privilege it needs; you can revoke it from your cloud provider's console at any time.
Your cells and telemetry. Your clusters, databases and application data live in your own cloud accounts. To scale, fail over and tune your cells, GeoCell collects operational telemetry from them, such as kernel, disk I/O and resource usage, network health and database replication status. We use it only to run and improve the service for you.
ChatOps and audit records. Commands you give GeoCell in ChatOps, in the console or in Slack or Microsoft Teams, and the actions GeoCell takes, are recorded so you can review them and approve risky actions.
3. How we use information
To run the website and the GeoCell service, answer your questions, keep both secure, understand which pages and buttons are useful, and contact you about your account. We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising or use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run GeoCell, under contracts that limit their use of it: Cloudflare (hosting, analytics, the early-access list and the AI model behind AI Assist) and Zoho (email, including notifying our team of early-access sign-ups). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
- AI Assist conversations: not stored.
- Abuse counters for AI Assist and the early-access form (hashed IP address): up to 24 hours.
- Button-click records: 13 months.
- Early-access emails: until you can start using GeoCell, or until you ask us to remove yours.
- Account, ChatOps and telemetry data: while your account is open. When you close it, we delete it, except where the law requires us to keep it.
- Cloud credentials: until you remove them or close your account.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Email [email protected] from the address on your account; we answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), local law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. We give these rights to everyone, wherever they live.
7. Security
Traffic to this site and between the clouds in a cell is encrypted. Cloud credentials are isolated per customer in a dedicated Vault. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
8. Children
GeoCell is a service for businesses and developers and is not directed at children under 16.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell account holders by email about significant changes.
